Dr. Ike C. Nnawuchi, MD

Dr. Ike C. Nnawuchi, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Ike Nnawuchi is a distinguished psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience spanning emergency psychiatry, community mental health, and integrative care. A graduate of the renowned psychiatry residency program at the University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Ike brings a depth of clinical expertise shaped by one of the nation’s top psychiatric training institutions.

He began his medical journey in pediatrics at Howard University Hospital, where he cultivated a strong foundation in child development, early intervention, and neurobehavioral disorders. This dual background uniquely positions him to support children and adolescents on the autism spectrum with insight and compassion.
Board-certified and fellowship-trained in integrative psychiatry, Dr. Ike is recognized for his holistic, culturally responsive, and family-centered approach to care.

His leadership spans prominent behavioral health organizations, and he is a respected national speaker, expert witness, and media contributor on issues at the intersection of psychiatry and public health.

Currently, Dr. Ike practices in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, with clinical appointments across several rehabilitation and outpatient centers throughout the region

Dr. Amarilys Galloza-Carrero

Ph.D., CH-C, CAMS_II, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Amarilys Galloza-Carrero is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. She is the Founder of Make It Possible, LLC, and is widely recognized for her expertise in diagnostic clarification, complex case conceptualization, and culturally responsive evaluation practices.

Dr. Galloza-Carrero earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Gallaudet University and holds licensure in Maryland and Virginia. She is also authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through PSYPACT. Fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL), she provides linguistically and culturally informed evaluations to diverse populations.

Her areas of specialization include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, trauma-related conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, forensic evaluations, parental capacity assessments, and immigration-related psychological evaluations. She is known for integrating standardized assessment instruments, developmental history, behavioral observations, and cultural formulation into comprehensive reports that offer diagnostic precision and clear, actionable recommendations. Dr. Galloza-Carrero holds advanced certifications as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Anger Management Specialist Level II, and Certified Addiction-Informed Mental Health Professional. She has received national recognition for clinical excellence, including the America’s Best in Medicine Award, honoring her contributions to psychological assessment and mental health care.

Her work is grounded in the belief that accurate assessment is transformative—providing clarity, direction, and a pathway toward unlocking each individual’s unique potential.

Rochelle Herman, MD

Rochelle Herman, MD

Dr. Rochell Herman is a Board-certified psychiatrist with many years of experience in various settings; outpatient, hospital, and corrections.

Dr. Rochell Herman did research at NIH. She also specializes in forensic psychiatry. She treats patients with all types of diagnoses and enjoys this work.

Jasmine Phillips

Jasmine Phillips

Miss Jasmine Phillips is a registered psychology associate in MD and DC. She earned her master’s degree in forensic psychology from The George Washington University and clinical psychology from Sam Houston State University (SHSU). Jasmine has experience providing psychotherapy and psychological evaluation to children, adolescents, and adults from diverse populations and in various settings (e.g., forensic, community, and private practice.

She has experience assessing for various psychological conditions including anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurocognitive disorders, and personality disorders.

Novie Duquilla

J.D., M.A., RPsy, RPm

Miss Novie Duquilla is a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed psychometrician with a Juris Doctor Degree. She specializes in assessment, diagnoses, and treatment of mental health issues. She provides holistic support for clients suffering from anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, and other psychosocial problems involving work, family, and relationships.


Miss Novie Duquilla’s practice also focuses on the application of psychological concepts in forensic settings. She had local and international research presentations and publications on research topics related to forensic psychology. She’s an International Affiliate under American Psychological Association and Asian Association for Social Psychology.


Miss Novie Duquilla has a strong advocacy for mental health. She had interviews from different international media platforms such as Vice Media and Medical Channel Asia. She continues to appear on different national news outlets for psychoeducation in her country.

Dr. Syed Asif Ali is a Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and, Addiction Psychiatry.

Dr. Syed Asif Ali  has 14 years of experience in all areas of Mental Health including both inpatient and outpatient Community and Public Mental Health. Aside from Renoxx Behavioral Health Services, he also currently has consulting privileges in Spring Groove Hospital Center, Washington Adventist Hospital, United Medical Center, Psychiatric Institute of Washington D.C, Bon Secours Hospital.
